Grand Bliss Riviera Maya - July, 2018: AmyA: We have never stayed with any Vidanta resorts until this time. We stayed at Grand Bliss and it was great. They suite was roomy and so clean. The maid service is great! I was nervous after reading other reviews here. But I found the other reviews to be wrong.

Grand Luxxe Villa Master Suite - Nuevo Vallarta
Jan 2017: MarcyC - The Grand Luxxe at Nuevo Vallarta is located within a beautiful and very impressive resort complex. Of the 5 or 6 hotels located on the resort property, the Grand Luxxe is the most luxurious and offers the highest level of service and amenities, including a concierge located on each floor. The 2 bedroom villa suite is an extremely spacious and well appointed unit which includes a very large balcony. The many pools to choose from on the property are enormous and beautifully designed. In addition, the unit is located just steps from miles of sandy beach. We particularly enjoyed watching sunsets as the beach faces west. There are two beautiful golf courses on the property and we were accompanied on each round by a friendly and knowledgeable caddy (caddies are required) which made our rounds even more enjoyable. There are multiple restaurant options on the resort property which are of good quality and offer a variety of different ethnic foods so there is really no need to leave the property. The health club is top notch, has plentiful equipment and offers some classes. There is a beautiful spa on the property as well. If you want to venture into nearby Nuevo Vallarta to explore or have dinner, you need to take a taxi with the only downside being that the access road to and from the resort is excessively long and windy so that it takes 20 minutes to go what should be a short distance making it a bit of a hassle.
July 4, 2014 - Renee F: Grand Luxxe Villa - We recently stayed at the Grande Luxxe in June. Renting from Bob and Mary was great. They were extremely helpful and a pleasure to deal with. Renting through them we received platinum service which included free shuttle service from and to the airport. From the moment we arrived at the resort we were treated like royalty. Everyone at the resort always had a friendly smile on their face and made us feel happy. The resort is gorgeous! The room that we rented was beautiful and spacious.There was enough room to sleep 11 people. We were a family of 6. We were on the 3rd floor which was the highest level. We were just at the canopy level which allowed us to have a great view from the large teak terrace of the many interesting birds flying by. I suggest bringing a pair of binoculars. The terrace has a plunge pool with 2 teak lounge chairs, a table for 4, a couch with coffee table, and two chairs with an end table. We sat outside every morning having our coffee and breakfast. The resort had an excellent electric golf cart shuttle service. It runs every 15 minutes from the hotels to the pools. The drivers always greeted us with a friendly smile and demeanor. What a pleasure! The many pools at the resort were fantastic. As a Grande Luxe resident we had access to all the pools on the resort. The grande luxxe pool is fit for royalty. I was asked by the one of the waiters if I wanted to have my sunglasses cleaned. The Grande Mayan and the Mayan Palace pools were so much fun for the kids. The beach is nice with powdery sand. There are nice piers that jut out into the ocean and are nice to walk out on. The beach is rocky so it is not a swimmable beach. The resort is in the process of trying to fix this by pumping sand over the rocks. The water sports available at the beach were great. We went parasailing, jet skiing, and reef snorkeling directly from the beach. What a fantastic resort and a fantastic vacation! I would love to go back!

If you have the opportunity to stay at the Vidanta Grande Luxxe - take it! We have been to Puerto Vallarta many times but this was our first time staying in Nuevo Vallarta. We could not have chosen a better place for our first time - the name Grande Luxxe fits because you are in the lap of luxury.
As a guest at the Grande Luxxe you have a lot of extra amenities like your own floor concierge, private beach cabana rentals, use of 99% of the pools and other resorts. We were able to take advantage of the amenities and could not have been happier. Our concierge, Israel, was the best -- any question, any concern, any request, he was able to handle with aplomb; and if he couldn't do it himself, he knew who to contact! Lisbett, Aldo, Francisco and the rest of the crew at the cabanas pampered us like no one else could. We ended up spending two days there just "being." They offer massage services at the cabanas and if you go, ask for Gardenia. She is one of the best massage therapists I've ever had work on me.
Food -- I can't say enough about the food. There are so many restaurants that we didn't even get through half of them (next time!). We had breakfast at Cafe de Lago (buffet), Ameca Social House and crepes at Sweet Paris at La Plaza. The crepes were to die for! Our favorite lunch place was Ola Mulata - their grilled shrimp and the chicken fajita tacos were amazing. Another favorite was the Taco Break at La Plaza. Dinners were a hit - La Cantina and Gong were great (on the water with a light show) but the Burger Custom Made tops the list - not only because Juan and Erick took such great care of us but the food, the presentation - all of it was amazing. Do ask about the meal plan because it will result in about a 30% savings on meals.
As with any resort, you will be approached about buying - do seriously think about it because Vidanta has an amazing product that’s available throughout Mexico. They are expanding and bringing a lot of new opportunities to the area - but listen to the sales people very clearly and take lots of notes.
Vidanta works with the local community (local farm that provides a lot of the produce, etc.) and takes great care of their employees. Everyone we spoke to was happy to be part of their team. Employee satisfaction is very important to us so we will definitely being choosing Vidanta properties for the next Mexican adventure. We do want to head back to Grande Luxxe very soon!
May 2019 - CFranks - Luxxe Villa Master Suite - Nuevo Vallarta - We spent the week relaxing at the pool. Very nice resort with plenty of entertainment. The grand luxe pool was the cleanest of them all. The burger bar was excellent also. Par 3 golf course is perfect also.
